Legal awareness programme for women held

Raipur, Nov 28: A Legal Awareness programme for Women was organized under the aegis of District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) here on Sunday during which Sessions Judge Justice Chetna Thakur, Divya Goel and Professor Dr Preeti Satpathi were present.
Speaking on the occasion, the Justice Chetna Thakur informed the participants about the victim compensation scheme 2011 and victim compensation scheme 2018 for women and also shared with them the provisions related with it.
Sessions Judge Divya Goel gave her lecture on Acid Attack and the compensations being provided to the victims by the government.
Health related issues were also discussed during the awareness progrmme.
