Rice millers will have auto registration for custom milling: CM

Raipur, Dec 01: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took a joint meeting of officials of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Rice Millers Association, Food and Cooperative Department officials at his residence office. The Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for procurement of paddy starting from December 1 on support price in the state. On the request of the Millers Association, he instructed the officers to immediately start the system of auto registration in the state for custom milling. Officials of Rice Millers Association discussed with the Chief Minister the action plan for lifting and milling of paddy, increase in the price of gunny bags and other important topics. In the meeting, members including Chhattisgarh Rice Millers Association President Mr. Kailash Rungta, General Secretary Mr. Pramod Agarwal, Advisory Secretary Mr. Mohan Lal Aggarwal urged the Chief Minister to increase the incentive amount per quintal in custom milling of paddy. The Millers Association also mentioned the difficulties faced in depositing rice to Food Corporation of India. On this occasion Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Food Minister Amarjit Bhagat, Mineral Development Corporation Chairman, Girish Devangan, Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Chairman, Ram Gopal Agrawal, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrat Sahoo, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Siddhartha Komal Pardeshi, Secretary Food Mr. Topeshwar Verma, Secretary, Department of Cooperation Mr. Himshikhar Gupta, M.D. of Markfed Mrs. Kiran Kaushal members are present.
