AIIMS-R celebrates 75th I-Day with patriotic prog

Raipur, Aug 16: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur fraternity celebrated 75th Independence Day with tricolor hoisting and programs with patriotic fervor. The Institute has expressed its commitment to the best health facilities for patients with the lowest cost, new medical professional courses, and state-of-the-art research facilities in the Institute.
Director Prof. (Dr.) Nitin M. Nagarkar addressed medical professionals, officers, nursing staff, and other employees during Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. ‘India’s independence was the result of sacrifice by freedom fighters from all walks of life. They dreamt developed nation which can fulfill the aspirations of the different communities. India is moving ahead with this spirit. At AIIMS, we are trying to help the country with the best health facilities, new medical courses to provide health professionals, and state-of-the-art research facilities ranging from COVID-19 to chronic diseases. AIIMS has become an important center for research, he said. ‘AIIMS fraternity, including Senior and Junior doctors, officers, nursing staff, security staff, housekeeping staff-all fought with COVID-19 with team spirit. We are committed to providing similar services for other chronic diseases, Prof. Nagarkar added.The program was graced by Deputy Director (Admin.) Anshuman Gupta and Dean Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Dhaneria.
