Naxalite surrenders before Addl. SP

Konta, Sep 09: Tired of discrimination by Naxalites and violence against the local tribals, one Naxalite of a large level of banned Naxalite organization surrendered without arms in front of Varshney Additional Superintendent of Police, Naxal Ops, Om Chandel, Additional Superinten-dent of Police and other gazetted officers, here on Tuesday.
On this occasion Yogyan Singh, DIG (Operations) CRPF Sukma, Sunil Sharma Superintendent of Police Sukma were also present. Influenced by the State’s ‘Rehabilitation Policy’ and “Puna Narkem Campaign” being run by the District Police under the Naxal eradication campaign, the inhuman, baseless ideology of Naxalites and their exploitation, atrocities and externalities, that the naxalite surrendered
Under the relief and rehabilitation policy of the Chhattisgarh government, the surrendered Naxalites were given 10,000 / – thousand incentives as per rules.
