Farmers apprised about BoB’s schemes, services

In 'Kissan Mela' held at Basna; loan worth Rs 3 cr distributed

Bank of Baroda, Dhamtari area organised Kissan Mela on Thursday in Basna, District Mahasamund. This programme is being organised jointly under the aegis of all branches of Bank of Baroda (BoB) situated in Mahasamund district.
In this programme, BoB Zonal Manager Sunil Trivedi and other office bearers of Zonal office were present. The objective of this Kissan Mela is to inform farmer about various agriculture scheme; to promote agriculture produce; ‘Kissan Credit card’; to provide KCC for animal husbandry and livestock; provide information about tractor loan, cashless banking, digital banking, APY; PMSBY; PMJJBY and others.
It was in the middle of this Kissan Mela, Zonal Manager BoB Bhopal Zone Mr. Dalakoti, Network DGM Ranjit Kumar Mandal addressed the beneficiaries and general public through virtual mode.
Duo informed that with objectives to double the incomeof farmers by 2022, information is being provided about various schemes and facilities of BoB, so that more and more farmers get associated with it and avail benefit of banking services from BoB, so that the farmers adopt modern and latest technology and agriculture equipment for agriculture works. In this ‘Krishi Mela’, loan to the tune of Rs 3 crore was sanctioned to farmers.
