RDA seals administrative office of Shweta School

Raipur, Dec 08: Raipur Development Authority (RDA) on Wednesday sealed the Administrative Office of New Rajendra Nagar-based Shweta Vidya Mandir following failure to deposit the outstanding amount of Rs 63.74 lakh of Bhubhatak (Landuse Tax). According to the information received, the RDA squad under the leadership of Executive Engineer and Revenue Officials reached the office to complete the process to seal the administrative office as well as four rooms. Officials said that every year, the School Management needs to deposit the amount of Rs 2.14 lakh every year but the said amount was not deposited for several years which had resulting in the outstanding amount of Rs 63.74 crore from them. Similarly, the RDA squad also vacated two families residing in the 72 Janta Flats under the New Rajendra Nagar scheme as they were residing illegally for the last three years.
