Divisional level debate competition organized
Raipur, Nov 19: On the instructions of Collector and District Returning Officer, a division level inter-college online debate competition was organized with the aim of promoting the polling awareness and ensuring active participation of youth in the voting process in Raipur district.
The theme of the competition was “In the opinion of this House the objectives of women’s empowerment can be achieved in the elections to the Parliament and Lagislative Council of India”. As many as 15 selected participants of the division took part in the competition. The first winner of the competition was Deepak Tiwari of Government Dau Kalyan and Commerce College, Balodabazar while Isha Pandya of Government Nagarjuna PG Science College, Raipur and Likeshwar Sharma of Government DSVPG Sanskrit College, Raipur stood second and third winner was Toshan Sahu of BCS Government Degree College,Dhamtari.
Chunnilal Sharma coordinated the pgoramme. Deputy District Returning Officer US Agrawal, Election Observator Mohan Lal Sharma, Assistant Programmer Vinay Tamrakar and voluntary organisation Sankal Sanskritik Samiti played special role in making the programme a success.
