MoU signed to modernize 36 IITs across Chh’garh

In the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Saturday morning between the Department of Technical Education and Skill Development of Chhattisgarh Government and Tata Technologies. The MoU, inked for a project worth nearly Rs 1188.36 crores, aims to modernize the state’s 36 Government ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes). The event took place during a programme organized in the office chamber of the Chief Minister located at the Legislative Assembly premises.

It is worth mentioning that under the MoU with Tata Technologies, training will be provided to the youth in 6 new trades and 23 short-term courses in the state’s 36 ITIs.

Tata Technologies will establish state-of-the-art technical workshops in selected ITIs of the state and make arrangements for trainers.

In addition, Tata and its partner companies will assist in providing placements to the state’s youth.

The project is expected to benefit over 10,000 youth annually, aligning their technical skills with the demands of the modern era.
