3CG Air NCC seven day annual training camp gets underway

Raipur, Dec 09: Annual training camp of NCC got underway from December 06 at Kalinga University Kotni.
This camp is of seven days for NCC third year cadets and five day for second year cadets. Camp Commandant Wing Commander Rajat Gupta said, as part of the camp cadets will be given training of a soldier’s daily routine, discipline, firing and aero-modeling training. Cadets will also get the benefit of lecture by the experts on different topics. Along with airport visit, cadets will get an opportunity to watch the planes from close and also get the experience of flying them. It needs to be mentioned here, for appearing in NCC B and C certificate examination cadets need to compulsorily complete one camp and this time 109 cadets are taking part in this camp.
On December 08 cadets listened to the details of disaster management from Vishal Wadhwani of UNICEF. This camp is systematically conducted by Squadron Leader Dr V K Choubey, JWO Dileep, Aero-Modeling trainer Deepak Bhurle and
others.
