Handloom and handicrafts art exhibition is getting massive response

The Handloom and handicrafts art exhibition organised at Pandri Haat is getting massive response from the people. Here Chhattisgarhi traditional handloom textiles and products of village industries are enticing people. It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of National Handloom Day on August 7, a nine-day exhibition of handloom textiles and handicrafts has been organized at Pandri Haat Bazar. The exhibition will run till August 15. In the exhibition, traditional handloom textiles and various crafts of the state of Chhattisgarh are available for display-cum-sale at discounted as well as discounted rates. Handloom textiles and handicrafts art exhibition is getting better response to everyday use items and clothes along with decorative items. People especially women are reaching here daily in large numbers to buy traditional clothes and clothes of their choice. The exhibition includes Dhokra Handicrafts, Iron Crafts, Wood Crafts, Bamboo Crafts, Tattoo Crafts, Shisal Crafts, Terracotta Crafts, Murals Paintings, Stone Crafts, Kaundi Crafts, Tumba Crafts, and Kosa silk, tussar silk, cotton dress material, sarees, tupattas, chadars, bedsheets and khadi textiles and materials manufactured by village industries are attracting people in handloom textiles. This exhibition organised during the festive season has become a gift for the people of the capital.
It is noteworthy that this nine-day handloom textiles and handicrafts art exhibition was inaugurated by Village Industries Minister Guru Rudrakumar on August 7th last. The nodal officer of the exhibition H.B. Ansari said that in three days in the craft market, materials worth more than Rs 3 lakh have been sold. In which handloom textiles, handicrafts, products of Khadi Board and Matikala Board have been sold. In this exhibition, people are buying traditional clothes and decorative materials available at affordable rates. It is worth mentioning that in this exhibition, stalls have been set up for the display-cum-sale of village industries materials made by the craftsmen of the state of Chhattisgarh. This exhibition is open for public shopping from 11 am to 9 pm.
