700 oxygen beds increased in the capital

Resources are constantly being pumped up against the challenges of Covid-19. Now the number of oxygen beds has increased to 700 in Raipur itself. On Wednesday, it will be further increased by 150 beds. According to Raipur Collector S. Bharti Dasan, at present, there is a provision of treatment of 400 beds patients in the Ayurvedic College Covid Hospital.
Similarly, 300-bed Covid-19 Hospital has also been developed in Science College at Attari with 150 beds with oxygen facilities. S. Dasan said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is reviewing all the arrangements regularly. He added that now social service organizations and various commercial organisations are also coming forward in the fight against this epidemic.
Arrangements for 400-bed isolation centers and at least 100-bed oxygen beds have been arranged by such organizations. In collaboration with some industrial establishments and banks, the district administration has received 250 oxygen concentrators and more than 300 oxygen cylinders. Apart from these, a 300-bed isolation center has been established in Ayush University Building and 500-bed in Hotel Management Bhawan in Naya Raipur. All these facilities are in addition to the already existing government health services and infrastructures. A 300-bed isolation center has also been developed at the Indoor Stadium in Raipur. S. Dasan said that the district administration is fully engaged by coordinating with various departments including the health department. He has appealed the citizens to strictly follow the Covid rules and said that there is no dearth of resources in the district.
