Maan, Aditi win Gondwana Cup Tennis tournament

Raipur, Dec 29:

Maan Kesharwani  from UP defeated Yash Chaurasia from DL with the score of 1-6 6-3 6-1 to win the Men’s Singles title of the Gondwana Cup AITA Tennis Tournament being organized under the aegis of Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (CSTA) here on Friday.

Similarly, Aditi Rawat from Harayana defeated Siri Manjunath Patil (KA) with the score of 6-2 3-6 6-3 to win the Women’s Singles.

In the Men’s Doubles Final match the pair of Anand Prakash Gupta (UP) & Cahir Sameer Warik (MH) defeated the team comprising Tushar Mandlekar & Shourya Manik (CG) with the score of 6-4 6-4 to win the title.

In the prize distribution ceremony, the Chief Guest, MLA Raipur North Purandar Mishra whereas Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh Reena Baba Saheb Kangale, presented the trophies and cash awards. The ceremony was attended by Secretary of Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association Gurucharan Singh Hora, GS Bamra, Avtar Singh Juneja, Joint Secretaries of Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association Rupendra Singh Hora  and Sushil Balani, AITA Supervisor Prabin Kumar Nayak and members of Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (CSTA).
