Dr Mahant unveils statue of Gandhiji at PRSU campus

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant has unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the premises of Pt Ravishanker Shukla University here.
Raipur Rural MLA Satyanaryan Sharma has presented the over 9 feet height statue of Bapu as a mark of remembrance to his father Padma awardee Freedom Fighter Pt Jhabarmal Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, the Assembly Speaker Dr Mahant remembered the non-violence message of Mahatma Gandhi.
MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, PRSU Vice Chancellor Professor Sachidanand Shukla, former MLAs Gurumukh Singh Hora and Swaroopchand Jain, Raipur Co-operative Bank Chairman Pankaj Sharma, Social worker Ajay Tiwari, Dr Suresh Shukla, Dr Debashish Mukherjee, Registrar Shailendra Patel and others were present on the occasion.
