Health Minister directs to increase RTPCR tests

Raipur, Apr 05: Health Minister TS Singhdeo conducted review condition of corona testing here on Monday. He gave instructions to increase the number of RTPCR tests compared to Antigen test so that correct results of corona infection can be known.
At present the ratio of RTPCR and Antigen test in state is around 60:40 and to which he directed to increase. He also gave instructions to increase the timing of tests report so that the corona positive patients can be provided treatment immediately. Health Minister also directed to strengthen the Home Isolation system and contact tracing system in the state. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the health department.
So far 30.11 lakh doses of vaccine administered:
In the state as on April 4th, a total of 30,11,444 doses of corona vaccine has been administered. As per information in this regard, 2,95,145 health care workers have been administered first done and 1,90,293 have been administered second dose. Similarly 1,28,217 frontline workers have been administered first dose and 1,28,217 have been administered second dose.
In this way a total of 21,23,192 persons above 45 yrs of age have been administered first dose and 32,861 have been administered second dose.
