People doing govt jobs on the basis of fake caste certificates to be dismissed

Raipur, Jul 25: Following the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel the General Administration Department has issued circulars to all the departments for dismissing those who got government jobs on the basis of fake and false certificates of scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward class. Chief Minister’s instructions for dismissing person getting government jobs in the basis of fake caste certificate came after representatives of Sarva Adivasi Samaj met him recently and requested for action by drawing his attention towards this issue. Representatives of Sarva Adivasi Samaj had also discussed this issue with Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma.
Issuing circulars on July 24 to all government departments, Chhattisgarh Revenue Board Bilaspur Chairman, all divisional commissioners, all heads of repartments, district collectors and district panchayat chief executive officers the General Administration Department said that in compliance with the instructions given by the Chief Minister, persons whose caste caste certificates have been found to be fake or wrong by the scrutiny committee, should be immediately terminated.
The High Court should be requested for speedy hearing through Advocate General, Chhattisgarh in all such cases. Action of dismissal from service should also be taken in the cases which did not get the stay order.
It has been said in the circular that before issuing the order of termination, caveat should be filed in the Chhattisgarh High Court.
