Two arrested for burgling neighbouring houses in Saraswati Nagar

Raipur, Nov 28: Saraswati Nagar police in association of Raipur police Cyber Cell on Sunday arrested two burglars and recovered from them booty worth Rs 90000.
According to police, complainant Adita Kumar Singh is a MR and resides in Sidhi Vinayal Colony in Chota Bhawani Nagar in Saraswati Nagar. His neighbour Jai Shankar Singh is also employed in a private company. They both had gone to their native place for celebrating Chhatt festival. Returning from there they found that both the houses had been burgled. A complaint was then registered in Saraswari police station where an offence was registered under 457, 380 IPC against unidentified burglars and an investigation was immediately launched. Police collected several CCTV footages of the house and the locality. Simultaneously it was revealed by local information network that notorious thieved of Bhawani Nagar in Kota identified as Himsnchal Sahu and Ravi Rajput have recently been released from jail.
Following the information, police detained both the suspects and brought them to police station for further interrogation. As anticipated they denied their involvement in the crimes but ultimately confessed both the burglaries after which police recovered from t hem booty worth Rs 90000.
