Sahu reviews preparations of Rajim Maghi Punni Mela

Raipur, Feb 21: State Minister of Religious Trusts and Religion and Minister in charge of Gariaband District, Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, reached the Rajim Mela site and took stock of the preparations for the Rajim Maghi Punni Mela starting from February 27. He instructed to complete all necessary works by February 25. Minister Sahu prayed to Kuleshwar Mahadev and wished for the prosperity of the state. During the inspection, he gave instructions to prepare the main stage systematically keeping in mind the convenience of the artists. Minister Sahu said that this year there will be a limited number of cultural programs following the Covid guide line, programs will be presented by local artists. Similarly, for Mahanadi Puja, Aarti Puja, Aarti will be done for 3 days by local priest and fair committee. Mr Sahu said that departmental stalls will also be set up in limited quantities so that the general public can get information about important schemes of the government. He said that the statue will also be installed at the Kund venue. He has instructed the officials of PWD department to do concretization of the route coming from Lomash Rishi Ashram. He has also instructed the fair management to make preparations keeping in mind the suggestions of local public representatives. On the occasion, district president Fingeshwar Mrs Pushpa Sahu, Gariaband Collector Nilesh Kshirsagar, Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel, District Panchayat CEO Chandrakant Verma and departmental officers were present.
