68 percent polling in final phase of chamber election

Raipur, Mar 20: In the last round of chamber elections, in addition to Raipur, voting was held in Bhatapara, Balodabazar, Mahasamund, Gariaband. Out of 9036 voters, 6458 members voted. Out of 7,800 voters in Raipur, 5000 exercised their franchise. The results will be announced on Sunday. Raipur will have an important role in the election of office-bearers at the state level.
In the prestigious election of the Chamber, there was close fight in between Vyapari Ekta Panel and Jai Vyapar Panel. Amar Parwani was president candidate of Jai Vyapar Panel and Yogesh Agrawal was the president candidate of Vyapari Ekta Panel. Chief Electoral Officer Shivraj Bhansali said that about 68 percent voting has been done. Voting was held in a peaceful manner. There are 16,615 voters for Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce in the state.
Before this, elections have been held in Bilaspur, Dhamtari, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh and Korea. Chief Electoral Officer Shivraj Bhansali said that 68 percent voting has been done. In all the districts where voting has taken place earlier, the ballot box of all those districts has arrived. Votes will be counted from 10 am on Sunday. Counting will be done in three rounds. Polling centers have been set up in four districts in the state. It is notable that 6 rounds of elections have been held so far in the chamber elections. On Saturday, the last round of elections is being held in Raipur, Mahasamund, Gariaband, Bhatapara, Mahasamund. Election officer Shivraj Bhansali informed about preparations and said that counting will be held from 10 am to 5 pm. It is notable that Chamber of Commerce elections, voting is going on for the office bearers of the district along with the state office bearers.
