BJP demands monthly pension of Rs 5000 for Covid affected family

Raipur, May 27: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday raised demand for monthly pension of Rs 5000 to the family of the people who lost their life due to Covid 19.
BJP Chhattisgarh Unit President Vishnu Deo Sai made the above statement while addressing a press conference here on Thursday. He said that several states have made cash assistance for the Covid 19 affected families and added that Chhattisgarh should also provide monthly pension of Rs 5000 to the affected family. He added that state government should also take steps for rehabilitation of the small vendors by providing them assistance and added that appointment on compassionate ground should be made immediately to the family members of government officials who lost their life during the Covid 19 period.
Sai informed that attempts are being made to prepare a database of the Covid 19 affected families in Chhattisgarh and added that blood donation camps too would be organised across Chhattisgarh.
He further informed that BJP would reach to nearly 5 thousand villages in Chhattisgarh with several assistance as well as public awareness campaign against Covid 19 on May 31 on the occasion of 7 years of completion of Narendra Modi government at Centre.
He informed that Food Packets, Dry Ration would be distributed among needy people under the Sewa Hi Sangathan campaign in 5 thousand villages and added that mask and sanitizers too would also be distributed among people.
