New facility to pay vehicle tax in bulk

Raipur, Nov 27: A new facility has been introduced for the vehicle owners on the vehicle portal of the Chhattisgarh Transport Department. With this, vehicle owners can pay tax of their vehicles in bulk. As per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, continuous work is being done under the direction of Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar to make the benefits of the services of the department conveniently reach the common man. With facility launched by the Transport Department for the vehicle owners on the vehicle portal, vehicle owners can pay the tax of all their vehicles simultaneously.
Earlier, vehicle owners had to spend more time in payment of tax separately for each of their vehicles, but with new facility, they can pay the tax of all their vehicles simultaneously. For this they have to create their login ID on the vehicle portal.
Vehicle owners can add more than one vehicle, and pay tax on all of them. Now with this facility, they will get relief from the problems caused by OTP again and again.
This will also help save their time.
It was told by the Transport Department that to take advantage of this new facility, vehicle owners have to visit the website parivahan.gov.in and select vehicle related services in online services section. Subsequently they have to select the RTO and click the user log in (for bulk tax payment only).
If the user vehicle is already registered on the Citizen Portal, then they can login to the Bulk Tax Payment Portal with the help of mobile number and password.
If the user vehicle is not registered on the Citizen Portal, then they can register themselves by clicking on Register now. After this, the user will have to give the desired information in the registration page. Once registered, login in bulk tax payment can be done with the help of mobile number and password.
