Statement by Singh Deo leaves political speculations

Gourela, Pendra, Marwahi, Sep 08: Amidst the political developments in the state, the very statement by Health Minister TS Singh Deo has increased the political fever in the state when on reaching Gourela- Pendra- Marwahi (GPM) he commented that number of party MLAs in state Vidhan Sabha may increase to 70.
Commenting upon the sharing of two & half year term in state, Minister TS Singh Deo said that all the talks on this issue are over now. It is notable here that Singh Deo reached Marwahi to express condolences on demise of MLA KK Dhruv’s son. On this occasion MLA Bilaspur Shailesh Pandey was also present.
On arrival of TS Singh Deo at the helipad by helicopter, DCC District President Manoj Gupta welcomed him along with his team with party’s stole (Gamcha) and flower bouquet. From the helipad, TS Singh Deo directly left for MLA’s residence and expressed his heartfelt condolences on sad demise of MLA’s elder son. He also met the family members and provided solace to grieved family members. After this he left for rest house and there he held talks with party workers.
Speaking to media persons, Singh Deo said that all the party leaders are doing their wor and fulfilling their responsibilities. To question on the statement that ‘Ch’garh aada hua hein ki dole raha hein’, Singh Deo said that there is no talks left on this issue. About the likely tour by Rahul Gandhi, Minister informed that he received call from PCC State in-Charge PL Punia few days back and discussed about Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Chhattisgarh and so far no final programme has been fixed.
The very statement that number of MLAs of Congress can go up to 72 has further given new political equations in the state. All are taking out its own meaning from this statement and that JCC (J) can join Congress fold and four of its MLA may join Congress. The four MLAs of JCC (J) are Dr Renu Jogi, Dharamjit Singh, Devbrath Singh and Pramod Sharma. Out of these four, Pramod Sharma and Devbrath have already made announcement to leave the party and join Congress fold, but under the party changing rule, they need support of one more MLA from JCC (J).
On this occasion DCC President Manoj Gupta, Uttam Vasudev, Dr Narendra Rai, Pratap Singh Maravi, Ajay Rai, Rajesh Sahu, Manish Kesari, Rakesh Jalan, Nagar Panchayat President Pendra, Bechuram Arihesh, Prashant Sriwas, Amol Pathak, Mamta Paikra, Aman Sharma and othes were present in large number.
