Over 7 lakh people recover from COVID in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, May 09: More than seven lakh people have so far recovered from COVID-19 infection in Chhattisgarh. Out of 8 lakh 42 thousand 356 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 since the beginning of the COVID infection in the state, 7 lakh 1 thousand 166 people have recovered so far. Of them 81% i.e. 5 lakh 68 thousand 638 patients have recovered from COVID infection after undergoing treatment in home isolation. In addition to this 1 lakh 32 thousand 480 people recovered from COVID infection after undergoing treatment in COVID Hospitals and COVID Care Centres. The recovery rate of the state presently stands at above 83%.
Maximum 1 lakh 35 thousand 358 people recovered from COVID in Raipur district ever since beginning of COVID infection in the state.
In addition to this 84 thousand 799 people recovered in Durg district, 50 thousand 208 in Bilaspur, 45 thousand 956 in Rajnandgaon, 38 thousand 697 in Raigarh, 37 thousand 133 in Korba, 35 thousand 818 in Janjgir-Champa, 28 thousand 788 in Baloda Bazaar-Bhatapara and 21 thousand 010 in Mahasamund.
So far 19 thousand 738 people recovered from COVID in Sarguja district, 19 thousand 099 in Balod, 17 thousand 862 in Dhamtari, 15 thousand 155 in Bemetara, 14 thousand 813 in Kabirdham, 14 thousand 731 in Surajpur, 14 thousand 292 in Kanker, 13 thousand 813 in Bastar, 13 thousand 670 in Gariaband, 13 thousand 349 in Jashpur, 12 thousand 482 in Koriya, 12 thousand 185 in Mungeli, 9105 in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, 8060 in Kondagaon, 7650 in Dantewada, 5143 in Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 4687 in Bijapur, 4654 in Sukma and 2333 in Narayanpur.
