PNB launches ‘Doorstep Banking’ facility for its customers

For banking services now it no longer required to move out of the house, because Punjab National Bank through its Doorstep Banking facility will help its customers do all banking work sitting at home.
In this context PNB’s management in view of Covid-19 situation, the Bank has launched services at the doorstep of customers and in this, all types of customers are included viz. senior citizens, ‘divyang’ and others.
For this, the customers will have to download the doorstep banking App in their Smart Phones and then by selecting Punjab National Bank (PNB) and writing the mobile number gets themselves registered. It is on successful registration, some of the services coming under Doorstep banking’ viz. cash deposit, withdrawal, cheque book facility, details of the account, living certificate, from to IT, issuing of demand draft and others can be availed by them sitting at home. These services will be provided by the nominated officer/ agency of the Bank to its registered customers only.
Punjab National Bank Zonal President Jitendra Sawai further informed that for any of the above services the customer can file the application through the App and after which the name of all PNB branches within 5 km vicinity of customer’s address will be flashed on the Smart Phone screen through GPS and the customer can opt for any one of them. For these services, there is very nominal charge taken and which in terms of facilities being offered through App will be negligible.
The PNB’s management hoped that in case of Covid-19 conditions, more and more customers would utilise this service. PNB has made an appeal to all senior citizens, specially-able persons and all other customers to avail the benefit of this scheme and in case if any of the customer’s faces any problem, then they can contact the officer nominated on his mobile No. 8120728016.
