BJP entrusts Chandrakar for Birgaon elections

Raipur, Nov 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday entrusted the senior leaders of the party as in-charges for the various civic bodies for the December 20 elections across Chhattisgarh.
According to the information received, the Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dharmlal Kaushik has been entrusted with the responsibility of election management for Risali Municipal Corporation, MLA from Raipur South Brijmohan Agrawal for Bhilai-Charoda civic body polls and Rajnandgaon Parliamentarian Santosh Pandey for crucial Bhilai Municipal Corporation in Durg-Bhilai region whereas BJP MLA and party spokesperson Ajay Chandrakar has been given the responsibility of Birgaon Municipal Corporation in Raipur District.
Apart from them, former MLA Labhchand Bafna has been appointed in-charge for Jamul Municipal Council in Durg region.
Rajya Sabha member Ramvichar Netam has been given the charge of Baikunthpur Municipal Council, former Minister Ramsewak Paikra for Shivpur-Charcha Council whereas former Minister Amar Agrawal will manage election management of the party for Sarangarh Municipal Council under Raigarh District. Former MLA Siyaram Sahu and Prahlad Rajak have been given teh charge of Khairagarh Council, Shyambihari Agrawal for Premnagar Town Panchayat, Dayaldas Baghel for Maro town Panchayat in Bemetara District, Vikram Usendi and Mahavir Singh Rathore for Naharpur Town Panchayat in Kanker District, Kedar Kashyap and Alok Singh Thakur for Konta Town Panchayat in Sukma District, Dinesh Kashyap for Bhairamgarh Town Panchayat and Mahesh Gagda for Bhopalpatnam Town Panchayat in Bijapur District.
State BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai has asked the above mentioned leaders to make a visit to their respective constituencies and ensure victory of the party candidates for the December 20 polls.
All the above mentioned leaders would be the star campaigner in their respective constituencies for the civic body polls. Apart from them, the former Minister for Urban Administration Amar Agrawal has been nominated as in-charge for the civic bodies elections whereas former Panchayat Minister Ajay Chandrakar has been nominated as in-charge for the upcoming three-tier Panchayat polls.
