Contract power workers stage dharna

Korba, Oct 20: Under the banner of Chhattisgarh Vidyut Karmachari Sangh, contract workers of generation companies of all the three units staged dharna in support of their demands at the main gate of DSPM plant on October 18 and 20. The workers are staging dharna in support of their three pointy charter of demands which include minimum wages as per government guidelines, regular pay slips, Rs 7000 Diwali bonus to every employee. In case of demands not met workers will launch further agitation in support of their demands, added Pawan Das branch president and Ghansyam Sahu, branch secretary.
