Students get mock test ahead of Placement

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur’s, Sahyog – The Mentorship Club organized the mock interviews under the Mock Placement event on Saturday in the Central Computer Centre (CCC). The event was organized under the adept guidance of Dr. Ravi Jade, Faculty In-Charge, Sahyog.

The interview was the third and final round in the placement event. The applications were for the profiles of Software Development Engineer (SDE), Data Analyst (DA) and Core job profiles for each branch. Out of 1000 candidates who appeared in the first round, 80 made it to the third and final round. The online  interview panelists included NITRR Alumni who are placed at various companies. Hemant Kumar Rathore,  Rudronil Dey, Shivam Kar, Siddharth  Mishra, Anikesh Rupchandani and Sumit Singh Thakur. There were two panelists who took the interview offline.

The interviews consisted of questions from Core and technical subjects, coding questions with implementation and the candidates were judged for their resume, communication skills and presentation. There were puzzles and questions from some topics according to the candidates profile and the subjects studied. The candidates were required to explain their answers and code for implementation wherever required. The main objective of the entire event was to give the candidates an experience of real life placement procedure.
