The resolve to build a new Chh’garh is being fulfilled: CM

Raipur, Jun 12: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated development and construction works costing Rs 448 crore 77 lakh in Mungeli and Bemetara districts in a virtual program organized at his residence office here today, including development works of Rs 276 crore 12 lakh in Mungeli district and development and construction works costing Rs 172 crore 65 lakh in Bemetara district. CM Baghel greeted the residents of both the districts on this occasion and said that the new Chhattisgarh which we had resolved to build, is being realized today. The imagination of Suraji Gaon is beginning to take shape. On this occasion, Chief Minister announced opening of 50 bedded Maternal Child Hospital (MCH) at Saja on the request of Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey.
CM further said that villages and farmers are our top priority. Our’s is a government of farmers and villagers. The benefits of Chhattisgarh government’s schemes and programs are reaching the people of all sections of the society. I am talking to farmers and villagers everyday. I am also very satisfied to see the satisfaction on their face. Chief Minister said that we have opened 171 Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools in the state so far, so that no student gets left behind in education due to economic reasons. It is a pleasant experience to see and hear the children of English schools conversing in fluent English, no one would have ever imagined that the children studying in government schools can speak English so well. He said that work is being done to improve education, health, agriculture and infrastructure in the state.
CM said that under the Suraji Gaon Yojana care of livestock is being taken, livelihood activities are increasing, Narva and Bari are being developed. Cow dung is being sold and organic manure is getting prepared under Godhan Nyay Yojana. All these works are being successfully done in Mungeli and Bemetara districts like the whole of Chhattisgarh. Changes have already started in the villages with these schemes. This year we have also opened a new source of income for the farmers. In the fields where farmers had grown paddy crop last time, if this time they decide to grow another crop or plantation in place of paddy, then they will be provided more inputs as compared to input assistance received on paddy. During the programme, Baghel held discussions with the farmers, women belonging to self-help groups, children from Swami Atmanand English Medium School and the beneficiaries who have benefited from various schemes of the government.
On this occasion, Health Minister TS Singhdeo, Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhendia appreciated the efforts being made under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the overall development of the state. They said that the schemes and programs implemented by the CM for the betterment of farmers, villagers, forest dwellers and women are being praised by the people. Chhattisgarh is the state providing maximum help to farmers in the country through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
