Text books to be distributed from 6 TBC depots

Raipur, Jul 20: The School Education Department has instructed for free distribution of text books to the students of all non government and unaided schools directly from the depots of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation. The text books will be distributed at free of cost. Distribution of text books in Hindi and English medium to non-government schools from class I to X will be done from six permanent book stores of Chhattisgarh Text Book Corporation – Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Jagdalpur, Bilaspur, Raigarh and Ambikapur for the academic session 2021-22. Text books will also be distributed on Sundays and other government holidays.
According to the prescribed time-table, instructions have been given to start the work of distribution of books to the schools in the development blocks of the district from July 21 from the depot of the Text Book Corporation. School Education Department has provided development block-wise action plan for distribution of books to non-government schools, names and mobile numbers of depot in-charges to the Divisional Joint Directors and District Education Officers.
According to the action plan, any non-government school not appearing in the concerned depot to get the text book on the scheduled date, will be informed separately about next distribution date after completion of the action plan. According to action plan if a depot cannot distribute text books on specified date due to some reasons or circumstances, the concerned schools will be given text books next day after the specified date.
