R-Day celebrated with patriotic fervor at ICFAI campus

Raipur, Jan 27: The ICFAI University, Raipur celebrated India’s 72nd Republic Day at the campus. The patriotic fervour warmed up the cold winter morning as the Coordinators, Faculties, Registrar of the University, Dignitaries and Chief Guest enthusiastically gathered to hoist the national flag.
The Chief Guest SN Abidi, Chief General Manager, Bhilai Steel Plant unfurled the National flag. Chief Guest SN Abidi expressed pride in the rich cultural heritage of our country. He focused on New Education System through virtual mode. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. GS Narsing Rao stated that everyone should perform their duties with more hard work, devotion and honestly to serve the people more efficiently. Also ignited the minds of youth about the Constitution Day , Freedom of the country, Freedom to practice many religions, Respect for the National Flag and also expressed that in the Republic India, every citizen enjoys equal rights irrespective of status and gender he or she belongs to. Registrar Dr Ravi Kiran Patnaik in his address emphasized the teamwork of the colleagues with his quote that ‘Work for the team not for the individual’.
