Instructions to speed up the priorities work of the govt

Raipur, Mar 18: In the meeting organised through video conferencing, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain gave instructions to all the Divisional Commissioner, Collector, Superintendent of Police, Chief Forest Conservator and Chief Executive Officers of the District Panchayats to implement the schemes and tasks included in the priorities of the government at an accelerated pace.
In this video conference organised from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan, a detailed review was conducted in reltation to Covid-19 prevention measures, disposal of payroll applications pending before District Magistrate, provision of drinking water and drainage water in summer season and prevention of infectious diseases, Godhan Nyay Yojana, upcoming rainy season and plantation, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Narva, rainwater conservation and custom milling. The Chief Secretary has emphasized efforts to include vaccination to prevent Covid-19, screening of infections and the measures needed to avoid Covid in practice. He has said that it is mandatory for frontline workers, health workers, who have taken the first dose of vaccination, and those above 60 years of age to take the second dose of vaccine within the prescribed time period. For this, messages has to be send by various means to inspire all the target groups. Jain has instructed the backward districts to expedite this work in the progress of Covid test and vaccination. He has also said that due to Covid vaccination, there will be no negligence in the work of vaccination of pregnant, infants and children. In view of the festivals in the coming time, collectors have been instructed to ensure that the measures to prevent infection are followed by the common people. During the festive season, instructions have been given to conduct health checkup of the shopkeepers associated with the sale related to the material related to it, and street vendors. Instructions have been given to all Superintendents of Police especially in areas adjoining the border states. Instructions have been given to the districts where the airport operates and to check the corona of passengers coming from outside states and get detailed information at the airport itself. It has been said to keep adequate police force at such places. Vaccination of para military and police personnel posted in the districts has been compulsory. Examination centers prepared for school and college examinations to be held in the coming days have been asked to ensure compliance of all safety measures.
Applications related to detained prisoners on parole leave in jails have been asked to dispose of them within the stipulated time and review these cases regularly. Action plan has been called for quick implementation to ensure adequate water is available for disposal and drinking water in rural and urban areas during summer. For this, it has been said to identify village and ward-wise places in the water level during summer time and start cleaning and repairing all means of drinking water supply. Instructions have been given to speed up the work of repairing pipelines and laying new pipe lines by making strategies for prevention of jaundice. It has been asked to ensure the availability of life-saving medicines in health centers, Mitanins and Anganwadi workers during summer time to prevent any kind of infectious diseases. Reviewing Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Jain has said that 52 government English medium schools are being run in the current teaching session. 119 new schools will operate from the upcoming teaching session. For this, the process of raising all the necessary arrangements should be started. Additional Chief Secretary, Chief Minister, Home and Jail Subrat Sahoo, Additional Chief Secretary Health and Family Welfare Mrs. Renuji Pillay, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary Forest Mr. Manoj Pingua and Secretary level officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
