Ex-minister’s PSO commits suicide

Raipur, Aug 19: In a sensational turn of incident reported in Civil Lines police station, he PSO of former minister and BJP stalwart Brijmohan Agrawal committed suicide by shooting himself dead in his room with his service revolver. Patrolling party from Civil Lines police station immediately arrived at the spot and took custody of the body which has since been sent to hospital for an autopsy.
According to police, deceased Vishambhar Rathore (36) was a constable of Mana Battalion and was presently posted as the former minister’s PSO. Arriving at the spot, police immediately took custody of the constable’s body and undertook a thorough inspection of the entire room which led to recovery of his service revolver and a suicide letter. This letter has since become the chief source of further investigation.
While police has confirmed recovery of the suicide, its contents are yet to be made official. However, sources have informed that the letter said of being repeatedly blackmailed by his wife’s brother-in-law and her father. Unable to take up any more harassment he reportedly commit suicide.
Police, meanwhile, have registered a complaint in this regard and is now investigating the matter further.
