Online Pension Management System of Chhattisgarh got National Alets Innovation Award

Raipur, Sep 18: The online pension management system ‘Aabhaar Aapki Sewao Ka’, operated by the Finance Department of Chhattisgarh Government for speedy redressal of pension cases of the pensioners of the state, has been awarded the Alets Innovations Award at the national level. The award has been conferred by Alets Technomedia Pvt Ltd in the category of ‘e-Governance Initiative for Government Service Delivery’. In a virtual ceremony held in New Delhi this evening, Mr. D. Ravi Gupta, Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Alets Technomedia Pvt Ltd, presented the award to Mr. Neelkanth Tikam (IAS), Director of Funds, Accounts and Pensions Chhattisgarh, Raipur through virtual medium. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated the officers and employees of Finance Department and Directorate of Treasury, Accounts and Pensions for this achievement. It is noteworthy that for speedy redressal of pension cases of the pensioners of Chhattisgarh state, online pension management system ‘Aabhaar Aapki Sewao Ka’ has been implemented in the state from May 2018. It has been developed with the objective of bringing transparency within the concept of e-governance as a single window system.
Under this system, all the necessary documents (except service book) are submitted online and digitally signed PPOs/GPOs/CPOs are issued for resolving pension cases. All the documents are also sent to the bank online by the treasuries for the payment of pension to the banks. As a result of the implementation of this system, the requirement of physical presence of the pensioners for the first pension payment has been abolished. In order to provide pension related information to the pensioners, the facility of ‘Pensioner Login Corner’ is available on the ‘Aabhaar Aapki Sewao Ka’ portal, through which the status of the case can be known and pension related complaints can be registered online. . Pensioner corner has been developed in E-Kosh Lite app for pensioners through which facility of downloading the digital copy of PPO/GPO/CPO. and identity card has been provided to the pensioners. Along with this, information about each stage of the pension process is being made available to the pensioner through SMS.
A total of 27,231 pensioners have been benefited from this system since the implementation of Aadhaar.
