Congress misleading people thru Rail Roko agitation: BJP MPs

Raipur, Sept 13: Terming the Rail Roko agitation of Congress to be an act of foolishness, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament (MPs) Sunil Soni, Santosh Pandey and Mohan Mandavi said that the Congress are creating inconvenience for the people through the Rail blockade.
In a joint statement issued here, the BJP MPs said that Congress has been creating false message which has become their national character and added that during the last five years, the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has not even able to start the City Bus services in various cities of Chhattisgarh. They further launched scathing attack on Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Deepak Baij stating that being an MP, the Congress leader is well aware of the Railway is among the priority sector for the Central government. They said that several steps have been taken for the railway connectivity across country including Chhattisgarh. They further stated that Budgetary provision of nearly Rs 6000 thousand crore have been made for Chhattisgarh in the Railway sector in the current financial year.
