Jageshwar of Raipur to represent in Asian Thai Boxing C’ship

Raipur, Dec 02: Under the aegis of World Thai Boxing Federation (WTF) and Asian Thai Boxing Federation (ATF), Thai Boxing Indian Federation (TIF) is hosting Asian Thai Boxing Open Championship in Hyderabad from December 03 to December 05. In this championship players from 12 Asian countries including India will participate.
It is a matter of pride for Raipur that Jageshwar Dadsena from Raipur is part of Indian team in 19 years (+75 kg) category. The jury member panel for this championship comprises of Anis Memon who is the chief judge and Tikeshwari Sahu is referee and jury for this championship.
It is a coincidence that all three of them are connected to Shri Gujarati School Raipur. Anis Memon is principal of Shri Gujrati Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Tikeshwari Sahu is sports coach of the school and Jageshwar Dadsena is a student of Class XII in this school. Mrs Najma Parveen Qureshi from Kanker is representing as women representative of State Thai Boxing Association. As due to COVID-19 if number of players from Asian countries come less in number, players from different Indian states will be invited to participate in the open category to get an international exposure. In this connection 6 players from Durg will participating in junior category, informs Anis Memon president of Chhattisgarh Thai Boxing Association.
