‘Passion, perseverance key to success’

Raipur, Sep 24: It is necessary to set goals and work with passion, concentration and perseverance achieve success in examination and life, said Deputy Director in Special Employment Office Dr Shashikala Atulkar while addressing 11th and 12th class students, preparing for competitive examinations in Government Higher Secondary School, Daganiya, Raipur today.
She also discussed topics like how to prepare for various competitive exams, exam pattern, syllabus etc.
The examination pattern, physical fitness were discussed especially for recruitment in Army, Air Force, central government, state government, public service and private institutions. A detailed discussion was also held on recruitment and appointment to the posts of officer, grade-3 and computer operator.
Detailed information was given about the preparation for Union Public Service Commission, Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, State Forest Service, Staff Selection Commission, Professional Examination Board, Banking Sector and the examination conducted by the Reserve Bank. She highlighted scopes of higher studies for students of 11th and 12th standard and advised them to study facts related to general knowledge, English, maths, reasoning ability. She said that students should use social media only for study and preparation for competitive examinations. Similarly, on September 25, a vocational and career guidance programme will be organized in Government Higher Secondary School, Kachana, Raipur.
