Vigilance Awareness week begins in SECR

Bilaspur, Oct 27: To maintain transparency in implementation of works in the Railways by South East Central Railway (SECR) and with objective to create awareness among railway consumers, every year SECR organised Vigilance Awareness Week from Oct 26 to Nov 1, 2021.
On this occasion, it was in the presence of GM SECR Alok Kumar that pledge taking ceremony on honesty and commitment was administered to all the heads of the departments, officers and employees of SECR Bilaspur division.
In the pledge ceremony on honesty and commitment it was informed to all that they should adhere to laws and work with honesty; will neither take or give any bribery; would execute all the works with complete transparency and honesty and work for welfare of the people; would also present honesty in my personal conduct and would report any incident of corruption to concerned agency.
In this administration of pledge by Senior DGM and Chief Vigilance Officer SECR Ajay Singh gave information about honesty, commitment and dedication and also about background of vigilance awareness week to all the officers and employees and asked them to make constant efforts in their life for honesty and transparency and bring it into practice in SECR’s working as well.
On occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW-2021), pledge taking ceremony was held in all three divisions and all workshops of SECR viz.
Raipur, Bilaspur and Nagpur and it was informed that during this VAW-2021, variety of programmes will be oragnised based upon vigilance awareness and removal of corruption during VAW-2021 week like debate competition in different offices and station premises.
The objective behind organising this vigilance awareness week is to establish a person’s commitment towards removal of corruption. The steps being taken by the Indian Railways will be promoted during this week, so that more and more passengers can be benefitted.
