V.Prez Naidu appeals MPs of Rajya Sabha to engage in constructive debates
Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has appealed to the members of Rajya Sabha to live up to the expectations of the founding fathers and set high standards of conduct and engage in constructive debates.
On this day in the year 1952, Rajya Sabha held its first session. Ever since it has been playing a monumental role in strengthening the parliamentary democracy. Mr Naidu extended best wishes to the valued members and efficient staff of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat on the occasion.
