Tyre shop, locked house burgled in separate places

Raipur, Sept 09: Unidentified burglars broke in a tyre shop in Mandir Hasaud locality and another locked house in Gondwara locality and decamped with cash and valuables from both the places.
According to police, complainant Adhir Kakkad is owner of a major tyre shop situated in Mandir Hasaud. On the intervening night of September 7 and 8, unidentified burglars broke the shop’s shutter and decamped with 20 nos. of tyres worth Rs 2.50 lakh. The burglary was reported in Mandir Hasaud police station late on Wednesday following which police have registered an offence under Section 457, 380 IPC against unidentified burglars and further investigation in this regard is now underway.
In another incident, unidentified burglars broke into the locked house of complainant Gulshan Nishad situated in Gondwara’s Basant Vihar colony on the intervening night of September 7 and 8 and decamped with ornaments and cash Rs 2000, all totaling to Rs 60000 from the unlocked almirah kept inside the house.
The incident was complained in Khamtarai police on Wednesday night following which police have registered an offence under Section 457, 380 IPC against unidentified burglars and further investigation in this regard is now underway.
