State Govt is fulfilling aspirations and expectations of the people: Dr. Dahria

Arang, Sep 10: State Urban Administration and Development and Labour Minister and MLA of Arang region, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria inaugurated various development works worth about Rs 10 crore and performed bhoomi pujan. Addressing everyone on this occasion, Minister Dr. Dahria said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is fulfilling the aspirations and expectations of the people.
Continuous steps are being taken by the government in the interest of villages, poor farmers and labourers. The process of development works is going on continuously in the state. Development works worth billions of rupees have been approved in the last two and a half years in Arang assembly constituency and some works are complete and many works are going to be completed within a few months.
With the approval of the works, it is sure that the condition of Arang region along with the state will change in the coming days. Minister Dr. Dahria said that people in rural areas, including all 166 bodies of the state, should have concrete and wide roads, CC roads in the streets, community buildings, roads from government buildings to main roads, schools and Anganwadi buildings, community toilets, theatres, drinking water.
Facilities like pure water, clean and sub-health center building bhumi poojan were done. This process of development work will continue even further and the new Arang will be visible to all of you in a few days.
Minister Dr. Dahria said that the dream of the development of Chhattisgarh state which the people of the state had seen is being fulfilled under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. A new state is being created through development works. The old culture of the village was revived through Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa and Bari and Gauthan. Women Self Help Groups are being made self-reliant through Gauthan. Employment opportunities are being provided.
Instead of paddy, those who plant other crops and trees are being encouraged by giving an amount of 10 thousand per acre. He said that along with waiving off the loans of the farmers, relief has been provided to the people by halving the electricity bill.
It has also been decided to give Rs 9,000 per acre to the drought affected farmers. Minister Dr. Dahria said that at the time of Covid, corona patients were treated by setting up an oxygenated Covid hospital at Arang. The economy of our state remained strong.
Our government is completing development works with the help of the people of the state. The government is also making efforts for people to get good roads, to get water from tap connection in the house. On this occasion Municipal Council, President, Chandrashekhar Chandrakar, District President, Khileshwar Devangan, Samoda Nagar Panchayat, President, Azuram Vanshe, Corporator Mrs. Dhaneshwari Khilwan Nishad, Komal Sahu, Corportor, Alderman and public representatives were present.
