Raipur, May 28: During the corona period, the examination of colleges is being held online, but late examination fees are also being imposed. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has made a 5-point demand, including lowering of examination fees and no late fees from the students. ABVP has submitted memorandum to Pandit Ravi Shankar University Management and warned of stiff agitation if demands are not met within 5 days. ABVP workers say that all classes of people are affected in the second wave of Corona. There was a lockdown situation in Chhattisgarh for one and a half months. In the midst of the recent corona epidemic, Ravi Shankar University has decided to conduct an online examination. The university is charging very high examination fees from its students. ABVP said that due to lockdown, late fees were taken from the students who failed to fill the form, which is unfair. The economic condition of people is bad due to Corona pandemic situation. In this case, it is not appropriate to charge entire examination fee and late fees. While the exam is also being taken online. With this, many students have been deprived of filling the examination form. Now the university has closed the portal. The demands made by ABVP includes – examination fee should be reduced by 50%, there should be an immediate ban on late fees, for those students who have not filled the form, the online portal should be restarted for a few days, answer books should be made available to the students living near the college from the college itself and arrangements should be made for students who have not been able to take the exam due to any reason.
