PRSU loses to Bhubaneswar Varsity in Tennis championship

Raipur, Nov 25:
Host Pt Ravishanker Shukla University lost the final match against visiting KIIT Bhubaneswar in Girls category championship of Easter Region Inter University Tennis tournament bring organized under the aegis of PRSU at VIP Club Tennis Court here.
KIIT team comprising Abhilasha Bista and Rituraj Chaudhary defeated the PRSU players Urvashi Banjare and Megha Banjare to lift the championship title. Similarly, KIIT Boys team also defeated the Jadhavpur University team to win the championship.
PRSU Vice Chancellor Professor Sachidanand Shukla was chief guest of the prize distribution function whereas Head of Department of Physical Education Dr Vipin Chandra Sharma presided over the function during which VIP Club Chairman Rakesh Pandey was also present. Sanjay Shukla, Dr Ramanand Yadu, Dr Pramod Mene, Gopal Urkurkar, Asim Kadri, Dr Karmishtr Shambarkar and Gyanendra were also present on the occasion, informs a press release issued here by the Organizing Secretary Rupendra Singh Chouhan.
