Class X and Class XII board exams to be held in offline mode

Raipur, Apr 06: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has decided to conduct Class 10th and Class 12th board examinations as per the schedule in offline mode.
The decision has been taken to hold the examinations as per the schedule so that year of the students does not go waste.
According to time table Class 10th examination will be conducted from April 15 to May 1 while Class 12th examination will be conducted from May 3 to May 24. Both the examinations will be conducted in offline mode.
In view of Coronavirus infection it has been decided to allow the students will be allowed to go to their respective examination centres to obtain admit cards.
The students remaining absent in one or more subjects due to lockdown or containment zone or any other issues will be considered passed. Absent will not be mentioned in their mark sheets; rather ‘C’ will be mentioned. Special examinations will be held for such students obtaining ‘C’ in their mark sheet. On the basis of marks obtained in special examination the ‘C’ will be replaced with marks.
Complying with social distancing rule all recognised schools have been made as examination centres. Social distancing has to be followed during entry of the students to examination rooms. The number of students in each class room should be half of the total sitting capacity. All students, teachers and other school staff will have to wear masks. Examination centres will be sanitised altogether. Arrangements will also be made for sanitising hands of the students, school officers and staff. Any student affected by Coronavirus infection will not be allowed to appear in examination under any circumstances.
