More than 20 cr devp work done in Konta Nagar Panchayat: Kawasi

Konta, Nov 24: Sukma District Panchayat President Harish Kawasi distributed cheques under Chief Minister’s Voluntary Funds to 70 poor families of Konta Nagar Panchayat area. District Panchayat President Harish Kawasi said that under the guidance of State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and State Industries Minister and local MLA Kawasi Lakhma, till now more than 200 beneficiaries in Konta Nagar Panchayat area have been disbursed funds under Chief Minister’s Voluntary Fund. Earlier, during the rule of BJP, no person got the benefit of this scheme.
Ever since the Congress government was formed in the state, under this scheme, every needy people are being provided assistance under the Chief Minister’s voluntary grant amount. The Congress government is a Congress party standing with the poor and every needy people, not a party doing politics for its own benefit. Whereas BJP does politics for its own benefit and works to fight man with man. He also made many allegations against the Modi government at the Center. District Panchayat President Harish Kawasi has done development works in Konta in the last two and a half years at a cost of more than 20 crores. Where earlier there was a lack of drains, roads in the streets of the city, today CC roads, construction of drains, street lights have been installed in the street, locality. While laying the foundation stone for Rs 3 crore development works, District Panchayat President Harish Kawasi said that under the guidance of CM Bhupesh Baghel and Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, development works worth 03 cr were given for development work in Konta Nagar Panchayat area.
Along with the inauguration of street lights on the main road of Konta Nagar, he gave the gift of many development works. He said that during the previous BJP government, the development of Konta Nagar Panchayat area had stopped for 15 years, the residents of Konta Nagar were forced to live in darkness.
