New PCC chief Baij to be just a rubber stamp of Baghel: BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Chief Spokesperson Ajay Chandrakar on Saturday termed the role of the newly-appointed President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) Deepak Baij would be just a rubber stamp of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.

Chandrakar made the above statement while talking to section of media persons at party office situated at Kushabhau Thakre premises. Responding to the recent changes in Bhupesh Baghel cabinet, the senior BJP leader termed it to be an enterprise of Congress to insult outgoing Minister Prem Sai Singh Tekam as well as Cabinet Minister Ravindra Choubey and new Minister Mohan Markam who has been demoted, he added.

BJP MLA also questioned the claim of Congress to win the next Legislative Assembly polls with 75 plus seats in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. He added that Congress might be claiming of victory on grounds of much-talked Liquor scam as well as recovery of levy from Coal which has caught several leaders and bureaucrats recently.
