More than 53 lakh corona samples have been tested in the state

Raipur, Mar 23: So far more than 13 lakh 54 thousand 171 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the state and more than 54 lakh 29 thousand samples have been tested for Covid 19. The state government is making all efforts to reduce the speed of corona infection in the state.
On the one hand, while the number of corona screening cases is going up, on the other hand, the number of corona vaccination centers are also being increased up and people are being provided facility to apply vaccine. Penalties are also being levied from individuals who are not following corona guidelines. Currently cases of corona infection are increasing throughout the country. The Government of India recently directed to bring more public awareness in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and some other states to prevent infection. According to the information received from the Health Department, so far more than 13 lakh 54 thousand, Covid 19 vaccine doses have been administered in the state. This includes health care workers, front line workers and the elderly over 60 years and individuals in the age group of 45 to 59.
More than 2 lakh 79 thousand first dose were given to health care workers first dose, 176303 second dose, over 2 lakh 5 thousand front line workers were given first dose, 87807 second dose and 4 lakh 86 thousand elderly and over 1 lakh 18 thousand 45 first dose Covid 19 vaccine has been administered to comorbid individuals.
