MG Hector launches updated Hector Plus launched
7-seater variant & 2021 Hector introduced
Raipur, Jan 09: Along with the launch of the 2021 MG Hector, the company has also rolled out updated for the Hector Plus. Launched in July 2020, the three-row MG Hector Plus was available only in a six-seat configuration. There is now a seven-seat version of the Hector Plus available as well, said Dheeraj Kumar, Sales Head, MG Hector, Raipur.
MG Hector Plus 7-seater gets a comes with a second-row bench seat that can accommodate three abreast, as opposed to the six-seat version that boasts individual captain seats. MG Hector 7-seater is available in Style, Super, Smart and a newly introduced Select trim. Hector Plus Sharp is available exclusively in a six-seat configuration. New Hector is priced at starting from Rs 12.98 lakh & 7 seater petrol variant starting from Rs 13.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Raipur) and diesel variant from Rs 18.35 lakh.
Aside from the addition of the new 7-seater option, the MG Hector Plus also gets new 18-inch alloys, the same ones as the 2021 MG Hector, and added equipment in the form of wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and Hinglish voice command support for the infotainment unit. Powering the MG Hector Plus is the same set of engines as the five-seat Hector.
The 2021 MG Hector gets noticeably exterior additions to extend the lifespan of the existing model. SUV gains minor cosmetic revisions including a redesigned grille in the upright front fascia with chrome studded pattern inspired form the ZS range, new set of five-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, two-tone interior replacing the all-black theme and addition of new features.
The features list continues to boast of LED headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights, LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps, heated Outside Rear View Mirrors, a seven-inch coloured multi-info display, 10.4-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting function, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated driver and front passenger seats, rear AC and AI-based voice recognition.
