Ch’garh receives 1.5 lakh doses of Covid 19 vaccine

Raipur, Aug 10: Chhattisgarh Government on Tuesday received nearly 1.5 lakh doses of Covid vaccine for the ongoing vaccination drive.
According to the information received, 1 lakh doses of Covishield reached here from Mumbai whereas 50 thousand doses of Covaxin reached here from Hyderabad in the afternoon flight. Health Officials received, both the above consignments at Airport before being stored at the State Vaccine Store Centre for dispersal to various Districts as per the requirement for vaccination.
Above arrival of Covid 19 vaccine is just a small relief for the people waiting for their opportunity to get the second dose who have already taken up the first doses and were scheduled for second dose.
Officials claimed that Chhattisgarh would soon received another major consignment of vaccine in next few days which would ease out the reported crisis of vaccine.
Raipur Health Officials stated that the vaccination would be increased in few more Centres for the next two-three days as they expect major share of vaccine.
