Gujarat delegation on Ch’garh tour

Raipur, Aug 27: A fifteen-member delegation from Gujarant is on tour to Chhattisgarh from 26th to 30th August. The delegation comprised Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Bhai Trivedi, legislators, Gujarat Assembly Secretary and officials. The tour has been organized under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat scheme of the centre. Gujarat and Chhattisgarh have been paired for implementation of the scheme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” to develop unity in diversity, the spirit of national unity, culture and traditions and to promote the spirit of mutual connection, by the Department of Higher Education and Human Resources, Government of India.
During Chhattisgarh tour the Gujarat delegation will pay courtesy visit to Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant and other legislators of Chhattisgarh at 10: 30 am on August 27.
The delegation during its tour to Chhattisgarh will also meet Chhattisgarh Governor, Chief Minister and Opposition Leader besides visiting the places of cultural and tourism significance in Chhattisgarh.
Earlier the Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Bhai Trivedi and 15-member delegation arrived at Swami Vivekanand Airport Raipur at 5 pm today. They were welcomed with bouquets by Chhattisgarh Assembly Principal Secretary Shekhar Gangrade, Secretary Dinesh Sharma on their arrival.
