Raipur, Feb 04: Private universities should provide such education that the students who go out from here can proudly says that they have received education in Chhattisgarh. During the corona period, private universities have tried to provide better education to students through online education and other means, it is commendable. This was stated by Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at the 16th Foundation Day Celebration of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan on Monday. The name of Governor Ms. Uikey was recorded in the world record for meeting the largest number of general public. In the ceremony, the Governor was also given a certificate by the Golden Book of World Records institution. She was given this honour as a governor, she met 10,849 people from July 29, 2019 to January 06, 2021 and listened to their problems.
All private universities presented letter of appreciation to the Governor and felicitated her. The Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission also provided a special appreciation letter to the Governor. All the private universities presented a report to the Governor concerning the work done by them during the Corona period.
The Governor said in his address that the areas of higher education should maintain quality. There has been an increase in the number of universities than before, but there is a need to adapt ourselves to the standards and try to reach all sections of higher education. I believe that the work of imparting education is the most virtuous work.
There should not be any kind of politics in this area. Educational institutions should be free from any kind of politics so that the credibility of the students’ institutions remains. The Governor congratulated the Private University Regulatory Commission and all private universities on the foundation day. It is noteworthy that for the first time a meeting of all private universities was held in Raj Bhavan by the Governor and reviewed. Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and Registrar were present in this meeting. On this occasion, all the private universities said that this is the first time a meeting was taken by the Governor by calling them to Raj Bhavan and gave us a chance to speak. We thank her for all this.
In the program, a souvenir of the webinar organized by the Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission was released. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Amrit Kumar Khalko, Dr. C.V. Raman University, Mat’s University, Kalinga University, I.C.F.A.I. University, ITM University, Amity University, O.P. Jindal University ISBM University, A.A.F.T. University of Media Arts, Sri Rawatpura Government University, Maharishi University of Management and Technology, K.K. Modi University, Dev Culture University, Sri Shankaracharya Professional University, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and Total Secretary of Bharti University were present.
