 Congress govt denied benefits of welfare scheme to people: BJP Co in-charge Dr Mandaviya

Ahead of the upcoming Legislative Assembly polls, the Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday further strengthening the organization with the entry of former Chhattisgarh Janta Congress (J) leader Yogesh Tiwari and nearly his thousand associates at a public meeting held at Rawanbhata Ground here.

Tiwari who had unsuccessfully contested as Congress candidate against the heavy-weight BJP Legislator Brijmohan Agrawal in the year 2003, took the membership of saffron brigade and also apolozise his past deeds against the BJP leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, the Raipur South MLA Brijmohan Agrawal termed him to be a strong fighter and would strengthen the Organisation.

Addressing the public meeting on the occasion, the Union Health Minister and Co in-charge of BJP for the Legislative Assembly polls Dr Mansukh Mandaviya hailed the achievements of Centre and criticized the Congress government in Chhattisgarh for anti-people policies which has resulted in denial of benefits of various public welfare schemes of Centre.

Speaking on the occasion, the former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said that the BJP workers for the welfare of people and said that it is always proud for the people to be associated with the BJP

Several other senior leaders were also present on the occasion.
